…AS IS is a rock band based in Columbus, Ohio. The band took the scene by storm in 1999 and immediately started performing at all the major venues in Columbus. 

 

They won the Greater Columbus Music Awards’ “People’s Choice Award”, headlined Comfest, opened for Men At Work, Fuel, Living Color and shared the stage with Barenaked Ladies, Tonic and Sixpence Non The Richer. 

 

Their debut EP was recorded at the legendary studio, Mission Sound in Brooklyn, NY (All American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday) with engineer Peter Keppler (David Bowie, Katy Perry, Nine Inch Nails) and received national commercial and college radio airplay charting on CMJ and earning them Hit’s Magazine “Buzz Band” honors.  Singles, “Last Time” and “Convertible” were both featured on MTV shows “Undressed” and “Making the Video”.

 

Their official CD release show at the Newport Music Hall was SOLD OUT getting the attention of every major record label in the country. They went on to sign with David Margolis (Radioactive Records, My World Productions) and entertainment attorney Todd Rubenstein (Perez Hilton, Nelly) and had interest from every major label in the country. 

 

Their journey was cut short due to the events of 9/11 and the band disbanded shortly after. 

 

For the first time in over 10 years, …as is reunited to a packed house with over 175 tickets sold at Victory’s (Columbus, OH). They are currently recording new music and will be performing select shows throughout 2024 with a tour expected early 2025.
